That's interesting

I'm here to share the interesting. Well, my interesting, which is mix of observation, research, expertise and gossip on things related to technology, design, writing and the world I navigate.

1. Why am I doing this?

I’m doing this for three reasons: To write, to share, to be social.

TO WRITE
I realized recently that the only way to be a writer is to… write. Yeah, that thing. I’m starting this blog to do that hard thing: write and keep writing, even when I’m too tired or don’t f*^#ing feel like it.

TO SHARE
I genuinely enjoy my curious brain. I’m also very good at simplifying complex ideas. Perhaps others will appreciate my words, for these reason.

TO BE SOCIAL
Despite my outgoing, loud personality, I can be incredibly private and insecure in my own communities when it comes to “sharing.” For that reason, social media has never really been for me. But I know I’m missing out. So here I am, world!

2. Who am I writing for?

Besides my kind friends and family, I hope to connect with strangers who share a passion for observing interesting ideas and presenting them plainly. I want this to be fun and casual, but informative.

Imagine that your quirky community college class titled, “The Art of Society and Tech” was held in a unisex hair salon each week. That’s this place.

3. When?

I will post once a month.
